080717 - Midnight Sun - Piteå

During this past weekend, 11th-13th of July we visited Pite Dragway in Håkan Fällström/Knut Söderqvists Top Fueler. We were up against the well known Monica Öberg and the booming newcomer, the finn Timo Lehtimäki. Monica quickly set the pace with a stormin 5,16 run and we knew Timo had something like it in him since his fast run at Alastaro the week before. After two rounds of qualifying, Patrik Pers was up against Monica Öberg for one final eliminating round. The entire Speedghost crew worked their asses off all weekend and truly earned their right to be on the pad, ready to do battle for the trophy and the bragging-rights...
